Glossop (The Gruffians) 10 - 5 Heaton Moor

Glossop squeezed home the winners in a really tight contest with Heaton Moor who up until this match had been unbeaten all season. Scoreless at half time, Heaton Moor took the lead with a fantastic 40 metre run out of defence before Glossop came back, first with a powerful drive from Joshua Done then a trademark sprint down the wing by Will.

Heaton Moor never gave up and Glossop defended bravely, especially against the tallest 8 year old I've ever seen!! Apart from the try scorers, special mention this week goes to Regan, playing his first competitive match like he'd been playing for years, Christopher getting stuck in at Scrum Half and Natasha who, despite being injured, still came to support the team.

This was Glossop's best team performance yet and both sides played the game as it's supposed to be played.
